Accessibility Statement
I want everyone who visits the Accessibility Solutions website to feel welcome and find the experience rewarding.
What has been done?
To help make the Accessibility Solutions website a positive place for everyone, I've been using the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 to systematically test and remediate this site. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible for people with disabilities, and user friendly for everyone.
The guidelines have three levels of accessibility (A, AA and AAA). I’ve chosen Level AA as the target for this site.
How am I doing?
Given the educational nature of this website, there are portions of the site that have been intentionally left inaccessible to illustrate what that inaccessible experience is like. These portions are limited to the "Before" Live Examples section of solutions pages, a button is in place just before that area explaining that the code is not accessible, clicking that button skips to the After Live Example.
Otherwise, I believe I've achieved the goal of WCAG 2.2 Level AA accessibility and monitor the website regularly to maintain this, but if you do find any problems, please get in touch using the contact info shared below.
Let me know what you think
If you enjoyed using the Accessibility Solutions website, have ideas for new content, or if you had trouble with any part of it, please get in touch! You can email me at me@stevenwoodson.com and I'll do my best to get back to you as soon as possible.
